Summer 2020 Update – June 15, 2020:
Summer Camp 2020 is a go in our new location Scotland Fields in York, ME! On July 1st the State of Maine will be lifting the 14 day quarantine period for out of state residents (NH campers) as long as they can provide a negative Covid -19 test within 72 hours of starting camp. At this point, we will be asking our NH campers to follow those same protocols but we cautiously anticipate that by the time camp begins NH residents may be able to come and go into Maine as they please. We will also be staggering our drop-off and pick-up times, as per the CDC recommendations and will not have parents leave their cars during pickup. All campers and staff will have their temperature taken every day at check-in and will be asked if they have experienced any symptoms related to the corona virus in the past 14 days. While at camp, campers will be divided into smaller sub-groups, which they will remain in for the majority of the day. When participating in activities with the entire camp, every effort will be made to have these activities outside and campers will be socially distanced from other sub-groups. The Camp area will be cleaned and disinfected multiple times during the day in accordance with all CDC guidelines and all staff will wear masks when not outside or socially distanced. Campers will not be able to share supplies or food so we will be asking all campers to provide their own lunch, water, snacks, crayons, markers and scissors.
We will be holding a Zoom Town Hall on Monday, June 22nd at 7:00 PM for any interested parents and campers to help answer any additional questions or concerns you may have over sending your child to camp this summer. Please join us! Zoom Link: https://zoom.us/j/7126558331
