October 15th – November 8th, in-person and online
Sister Julia, Child of God, never meant to poison the convent’s dinner, but things happen!
The Little Sisters of Hoboken need money for burials, and what better way to get it than by putting on a variety show! Nunsense is a surprisingly wholesome, hilarious, and zany musical featuring the five survivors of Sister Julia’s little mishap. The remaining sisters put on a madcap performance to raise funds so that the last four of the dearly departed can be buried. The score pulses with joay and an unabashed desire to make you laugh, with songs and spontaneous comic interludes paced at break-neck speed.
Starring members of our resident company and familiar faces, including Kevin Mahaney as Mother Superior, Nunsense is sure to please audiences of all ages.
