The Producers

May 11 – June 10

A hilarious cast, a killer book by Mel Brooks, every number – a show-stopper. The Producers kicks off our summer season in a big way with a Broadway musical take on the classic 1967 film.

Max Bialystock is a one-time, big-shot Broadway producer who has fallen on hard times, producing flop after flop. Leopold Bloom is a mild-mannered, if a bit neurotic, accountant with dreams of his name in lights. Together they discover that it’s possible to make more money on a flop than a hit Broadway show, and set about scheming to strike it rich with the worst show Broadway has ever seen. When their new show “Springtime for Hitler” proves to be a smashing success, their lives are thrown into chaos as they are pursued by the law, a deranged Nazi playwright, and each other.

The Producers stars a who’s who of Seacoast musical theater talent, with Jamie Bradley as Max Bialystock and Tim Hackney as Leopold Bloom, Rachel Pantazis as Ula, Chris Bradley as Roger Debris, along with Cullen Delangie, Michael Crumbley, Alyssa Dumas, Jason Faria, Andrea Lyons, Caroline Huerta, Andrew Kelley, Katie Juster, Sam St. Jean, and more.
