The Seacoast Repertory Theatre is excited to present a new show in the Underground Series, AbbaVision!

On April 6, 1974, Eurovision held a contest for the best song any country in Europe could put forth. By doing so, they introduced the world to the winner, a new Swedish pop group composed of Agnetha Fältskog, Benny Andersson, Björn Ulvaeus, and Anni-Frid Lyngstad, or as they called themselves, ABBA. ‘Waterloo’ was the winning song that year and it catapulted the group to fame and shortly thereafter gave the world enough hit songs to write a jukebox musical and 2 movie adaptations to; Mamma Mia! and the sequel,  Mamma Mia! Here We Go Again. ABBA was inducted into the Rock n Roll hall of fame in 2010, after selling upwards of 300 million records in their career.

On April 6, 2025, The Underground Series will embark on the fantastic voyage that is AbbaVision!
