The Seacoast Repertory Theatre and the Underground series excitedly present Green May: a Green Day Night!
Green Day is often referred to as the best pop-punk band of all time, and is credited with having revived the punk scene to mainstream America in the 90s. The band has sold roughly 75 million records worldwide in that time, making them one of the highest-selling artists of all time. In 2010, American Idiot debuted on Broadway to the tune of 3 Tony nominations, taking the music from the wildly successful concept album, American Idiot, and peppering in other standout offerings from the band’s massive catalog. The group has been nominated for 20 Grammy awards and has won five of them. Green Day was inducted into the rock and roll hall of fame in 2015, their first year of eligibility.
Featuring series curator, Sean Mullaney, this concert will take you through the impressive catalogue of one of the best rock bands to come from America, and have you on your feet from start to finish! Tickets available at the box office or online at seacoastrep.org!
